The rat trap

I dug up the ground around the chicken pen and in the chicken pen to destroy the rat tunnels and dug up the tunnels going to toward the fence. I then baited the rat trap with a piece of turkey and set this trap at the opening of a tunnel.

Next day, came back and discovered the trap was gone. Need to dig a little more to see where it went and if something is still attached..
